Hi everyone.

I've had this journal for over three years now - during this time, you've read about my ups and downs, incidents that have happened in my life, and how I've reacted to them. It's now come to the stage where I feel I need a new start, to get away from certain people on my friends list who know me in real life, and have proved themselves not to really be my friend, and at this stage in my life, I don't need people who are going to pour negativity upon negativity upon me and then expect that I will sit back and take it. I'm better than that.

Instead of completely leaving livejournal I've created a new account, which I'll post in a filtered post later; the new journal will probably have most of you on, so don't worry.

It's really sad that I have to resort to this, but I think cutting ties from my old journal will help move me on to more positive things.

Goodbye this journal.

Yup that's right - The majority of my LiveJournal is now Friends-Only; so for the FULL lowdown on who I am and what goes on in my day to day life, my ramblings, my tears, my laughter, my general downright wacky views, just Me in general post a comment and if you check out ok, I may just add you back :)

Welcome to the madness that is my LiveJournal !!! Muahahaha ... that was an evil cackle by the way ....

LOL ;)

*hugs*

On Thought and Future

Think ...

Drain a while on thoughts,

Contemplative yet Portentous,

Thoughts not yet summarised;

Yet the fabric of which completes

The heart like so many cotton strings

will complete a pattern ...

Much like the weaver weaves his tale,

So will my thoughts be woven;

With fabric of concepts, musings and

self do I run with the flow of thought ...

... So let my thoughts flow with me,

for the full tale is yet to be woven.

By the famous Pathan Warrior Poet, Khushal Khan: On Tribal Rivalries between Pathans

The following stanza, refers to the destructiveness of tribal rivalries, within it mentions several Pushtun tribes who live in the Suleiman Mountains (land of Roh).

Of the Pathans that are famed in the land of Roh,

Now-a-days are the Mohmands, the Bangash, and the Warrakzais, and the Afridis.

The dogs of the Mohmands are better than the Bangash,

Though the Mohmands themselves are a thousand times worse than the dogs.

The Warrakzais are the scavengers of the Afridis,

Though the Afridis, one and all, are but scavengers themselves.

This is the truth of the best of the dwellers in the land of Pathans,

Of those worse than these who would say that they were men?

No good qualities are there in the Pathans than are now living:

All that were of any worth are imprisoned in the grave.

This indeed is apparent to all who know them.

He of whom the Moghuls say, "He is loyal to us",

God forbid the shame of such should be concealed!

Let the Pathans drive all thought of honour from their hearts:

For these are ensnared by the baits the Moghuls have put for them.
